Green Shark Landscaping LLC - Terms of Service (TOS)
Effective Date: 01 January 2026
1. Scope of Services
Green Shark Landscaping LLC ("the Company") provides landscaping services as outlined in the customer's estimate or service agreement. Services may include lawn care, planting, clean-ups, hardscaping, irrigation work, or other agreed-upon tasks. Any service not listed in writing is considered additional and may require a separate estimate.
2. Estimates & Pricing
Estimates are valid for 30 days. Pricing is based on site conditions at the time of the estimate. The Company may adjust pricing if conditions change or if additional work is requested.
3. Scheduling & Access
Service dates may shift due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Customers must provide access to all service areas, including gates and driveways.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
Remove personal items or obstacles from service areas
Secure pets
Inform the Company of irrigation lines, utilities, or hazards
The Company is not responsible for damage to unmarked or hidden utilities.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due as stated on the invoice. Unless otherwise noted:
Residential: Payment due upon completion
Commercial: Net 15 or Net 30
Late payments may result in service suspension or fees.
6. Changes & Additional Work
Any change to the original scope must be approved in writing. Additional work will be billed at standard rates.
7. Cancellations
Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice. Short-notice cancellations may incur a fee. Maintenance contracts require 30 days' written notice to terminate.
8. Weather & Safety
The Company may delay or modify services due to unsafe or wet conditions.
9. Materials & Warranties
Plant materials are warranted only as specified in the proposal. The Company is not responsible for plant loss due to weather, pests, or improper watering. Hardscape materials may carry manufacturer warranties.
10. Liability
Green Shark Landscaping LLC carries general liability insurance and will take reasonable care during service. The Company is not responsible for:
Pre-existing damage
Damage from unmarked utilities or hidden obstacles
Indirect or consequential damages
Concerns must be reported within 48 hours of service.
11. Photos & Marketing
The Company may take before-and-after photos for documentation or marketing. Customers may opt out in writing prior to the work being started.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
